From it’s mazelike alleyways in the souk, to it’s beyond gorgeous Instagram-worthy decor, Marrakesh Morocco has quickly become one of my favorite new destinations. I went for a wedding, but will come back for the culture. My stay at La Mamounia was impressive to say the least – a French Moroccan 5 star hotel with service to match. The first night we ate dinner at Dar Yakout – one of my favorite restaurants we tried (make sure you check out the roof before dinner). After exploring the old town and shopping in the souk we had lunch at Pierre Balmains old mansion turned restaurant, Dar Moha. The rest of my trip consisted of wedding festivities – this was probably the most insane wedding I’ve ever been to with the most attention to detail. I will definitely be back to explore more…
