If you haven’t had the privilege (not) of going apartment hunting in NYC yet, I envy you. You may be wondering why I’ve been slacking on my blog posts recently, well this is exactly why. Apartment hunting in the city is not only completely draining, but a pain in my tush, and major stress provoker. Don’t even get me started on brokers, I hate every single one of them. When you’ve been around the block a few times (literally and figuratively) you know exactly the BS brokers throw your way in order to put the pressure on and make you sign a lease you will most likely regret. “There’s already an application in, but you can beat it” or “the fee is nonnegotiable are two things you should never believe. So you guessed it, that’s exactly what I’m up to these days – hunting down the perfect apartment in the coordinates above, with a good amount of closet space and natural light. Some say it’s impossible in the area, but I’m very determined… Oh, and here was me today in the 85 degree heat (froyo break). I wore a vintage romper, Chanel flats (found a pair on Ebay for you!), and AA crop top.
