Aspen Travel Guide: Equipped with a smuggler and snow boots, I arrived in Aspen with ready to explore the winter wonderland I was told about for years past. I soon found out, that the hype was definitely real. From the cozy fireplace lit restaurants to the quant town with great shopping, to the well-groomed mountains and ski lodges to match – Aspen really was out of a movie.
#WeAteWhat
Matsuhisa – The Nobu of Aspen with a scene to match.
The Little Nell – Straight from the slopes for spiked hot chocolate and a wild après ski party.
J Bar at Hotel Jerome – A cozy hot spot for drinks and afternoon snacks.
Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory – Hands down best candy apples.
Caribou Club – Members only for fine dining and the elitist of Aspen…the post dinner party turns up too.
Paradise Bakery – For a cup of coffee and chocolate chip cookie mid ski day.
Mezzaluna – A casual lunch in town to fuel your shopping needs (get the truffle pizza)
Pine Creek Cookhouse – I wasn’t able to go this time but I’ve heard amazing things (the only way to get to the restaurant is to take a sleigh or ski)
Where I Shopped
Kemo Sabe – Authentic Aspen style with western apparel – everything custom.
Silver Threads Optical – An awesome sunglass store where I customized frames as well.
Where I Went Out
Bootsy Bellows – The notorious LA club set up in the middle of Aspen town and lived up to its wild reputation.
