The revamp of the 90s also brought back a new way to style our beloved slip dress. For me personally, it has become an essential layering piece worn in a more casual way. Tone it down with a pair of white kicks, or layer it with a simple white t and a bomber jacket.

The Pavilion: In the concrete Jungle we call New York City, it can be challenging to find a laid back oasis away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Embellished with vibrant decor reminiscent of a tropical resort, The Pavilion, located in Union Square, offers an eclectic selection of seasonal fare and cocktails in a welcoming outdoor setting. The Birthday Pancakes are a favorite amongst Wine ‘n Diners.
La Cerveceria: This East Village, pan-Latin restaurant is famous for it’s extensive beer selection, yet has plenty more to offer. Overlooking 2nd avenue, La Cerveceria’s al-fresco dining radiates a vibrant feel to complement it’s flavorful menu. This spot is highly recommended to anyone who is looking to try Peruvian tapas.
Jones Wood Foundry: Hey upper east siders, this gastropub is deal for those looking for a place to take refuge after visiting U.E.S museums. This hidden gem spot gives off a mellow atmosphere while implementing unique twists on classic english dishes.
Seamore’s: This chic seafood joint offers perfect sidewalk seating this summer sixteen. Located in New York’s Nolita neighborhood, Seamore’s exudes a clean feel while offering an enticing selection of montauk-inspired seafood. The Tuna Poke is a Wine ‘N Dine favorite.
Bubby’s High Line: Bubby’s comfortable, yet hip ambiance makes for an ideal outdoor spot this summer. A block away from the Whitney Museum, Bubby’s is a perfect stop for somebrunch fuel and diner favorites (make sure to try the Huevos Rancheros). Located in the meatpacking district, Bubby’s offers a perfect sidewalk spot for some prime people-watching after a day at the High Line or at the Whitney.
dell’anima: For those looking for a perfect date spot with outdoor seating, look no further than dell’anima in West Village. A sister restaurant of L’artusi, dell’anima is lively yet laid-back.The outdoor seating at this tiny Italian spot creates a romantic ambiance, but on colder nights we recommend grabbing a seat at the chef’s counter for a unique experience.
La Pecora Bianca: Located in the St.James building, La Pecora Bianca stands out amongst the homogeneous blob of Italian restaurants in NYC because of it’s fresh menu that adds a modern and unique kick to authentic dishes. A Hotspot on Wine ‘n Dine, La Pecora Bianca’s sophisticated, yet chic outdoor atmosphere adds flare to Italian fare while maintaining the genuine traditions of Italian cooking.
Narcissa: Narcissa’s garden terrace embodies everything we want from an outdoor dining experience. The terrace makes for a perfect hideaway during the day, and transforms into an intimate garden of dreams illuminated by electric stars by night. Offering clean, farm-to- table cuisine, this East Village spot will certainly be a summer favorite.
Santina: Located underneath the Gansevoort entrance to the High Line, the restaurant is bright in both its color scheme and in its selection, creating an inviting environment. The interior of the restaurant is evocative of a high-end caribbean vacation spot, while the outdoor seating
adds mediterranean influence to this culinary experience. Wine ‘n Dine users go crazy for the Butternut Squash Carpaccio.
Riverpark: There are few things better than dining while overlooking a body of water and lucky for us, Riverpark is a New American restaurant in Kips Bay that provides just that. The menus fluctuate based on the seasonal fare keeping each visit distinct and exciting. An awesome date spot both during the day and at night, however, if you are going during the day, the Grilled Bread with Ricotta and Rhubarb Chutney is the ultimate starter.
